Terms and Conditions
1. Payment Expectations
1.1. Deposit Requirement: To confirm your travel itinerary with Alba Àrd a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total trip cost is required at the time of booking.
1.2. Full Payment: Full payment for your trip is required no later than three months prior to your scheduled departure date. Failure to make the full payment by this deadline may result in the cancellation of your booking, and the deposit will not be refunded.

2. Cancellation Policy
2.1. Cancellation before Three Months: If you cancel your booking more than three months before your scheduled departure date, your deposit will not be refunded, but any additional payments made beyond the deposit will be refunded to you.
2.2. Cancellation within Three Months: If you cancel your booking within three months of your scheduled departure date, no refunds will be provided, and you will be responsible for the full cost of the trip.

3. Travel Insurance
3.1. Mandatory Travel Insurance: It is mandatory for all travellers to purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes coverage for trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and other travel-related risks. Proof of insurance may be requested by Alba Àrd at any time.

4. Booking Amendments
4.1. Amendment Requests: Any requests to amend your booking, such as changes in travel dates or itinerary, are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Alba Àrd will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests but cannot guarantee their approval.

5. Travel Documents and Passports
5.1. Passports and Visas: It is the responsibility of each traveller to ensure they possess valid passports, visas, and any required travel documents for their journey. Alba Àrd is not liable for any issues related to inadequate travel documentation.

6. Health and Vaccinations
6.1. Health Precautions: Travelers should consult with their healthcare providers to determine recommended vaccinations and health precautions for their destination. Alba Àrd is not liable for any health-related issues that may arise during the trip.

7. Changes and Cancellations by Alba Àrd
7.1. Cancellation by Alba Àrd: Alba Àrd reserves the right to cancel a trip due to unforeseen circumstances, including insufficient bookings, natural disasters, or other factors. In such cases, a full refund of all payments made to [Travel Company Name] will be provided, and [Travel Company Name] will not be liable for any additional expenses incurred by travellers.
7.2 Changes by Alba Àrd: Alba Àrd reserves the right to modify a trip due to unforeseen circumstances, including insufficient bookings, natural disasters, or other factors. All changes would be discussed in full, in the event you are not happy with the changes and would prefer to cancel please refer to 7.1.

8. Liability
8.1. Limitation of Liability: Alba Àrd is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expenses incurred by travellers during their trip, except where such liability is legally required and cannot be excluded.

9. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
9.1. Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland.

10. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions
10.1. Acceptance: By making a booking with Alba Àrd, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
